MTN SME is a data share prepaid service that allows business owners or an individual MTN subscriber to purchase data bundles starting from N10,000 to N52,000. and then share with others or you can sell the data to anyone, you can start a business venture buying data and selling to others. This service is free for all MTN subscribers. To enjoy this service, you will need to first migrate to the MTN SME Plus tariff plan by texting 460 to 131.

HOW TO SUBSCRIBE FOR MTN SME RESELLER
- Migrate to MTN SME Plus tariff plan by dialing the code *460# or by sending 460 in an SMS to 131 with your MTN line.
- Recharge your migrated MTN line with the amount of SME data you want to buy. There are 4 different SME data bundle plans which you can buy, and they are the 10GB plan for N10,000, 20GB for N18,000, 50GB for N40,500 and 75GB for N52,500.
- After you have recharged your line with the exact amount of data bundle plan you plan going for as given above, then you have to subscribe into any of the plans as given below;For 10GB, send 465 to 131 as text message
For 20GB, send 466 to 131 as text message
For 50GB, send 467 to 131 as text message
For 70GB, send 468 to 131 as text message - When you have finally subscribed into any of the given data plans above, you can start sharing data to any MTN line based on the standard data share sizes that is given as any of 250MB, 500MB, 750MB and 1GB.
- To transfer or share data to your client beneficiary MTN number, simply send an SMS to 131 in the given format below;

NOTE THE FOLLOWING :
1. To check your remaining balance at any time, simply send DATABALANCE in an SMS to 131
2. beneficiaries can check their data balance, you should tell them to dial the code 4617#
3. you can use your already existing MTN PIN to share data
4. Based on those standard data sizes that you share to your clients/beneficiaries, you have to determine the prices yourself in which you want to offer the shared data and also the means in which you would love to receive payment.
5. The higher the data bundle plan you go for, the better your profits will turn out to be after selling it.
6. Any of SME data bundles that you purchased as a reseller is valid for 30 days
7. you can always top up your SME bundles at any given time, regardless of any unfinished data, and whenever you do so, your validity period is extended by another 30 days
8. your beneficiaries validity period always start counting from the very last time the reseller subscribed to a new data plan after sending.
9. As a reseller if you want to send data in excess of 1GB, you will have to share it twice, thrice and so on

One cannot control the expiry date of any data bought, Every data purchased as a 30 day validity period! So always make sure you know the date of expiry before purchasing any data plan!!! Thank You

Interesting question, Mtn directive states that all data purchased as a 30 days valid period. Means once it passed that, the data has expired, Kindly call customer care for more information.
Sorry what if i just want to use this plan to subscribe for my phone without sharing to anyone. Will it possible for me to browse with it? and if i migrate to this plan, will they remove any money?
Yes you can subscribe for mtn data sme, yes you can use it for personal use also. Migration to this plan is free for the first time, other times attracts a fee of N100.
please in a case whereby am a beneficiary, i mean if someone send me MB, will it b possible 4 me to send/transfer to someone else?

If the give lower rate based on volume of date a reseller has purchased so far, then it makes it almost impossible for new resellers to enter the business.
