I actually wasn’t expecting to receive my konga affiliate commissions early this New Year, because konga’s payment date is usually on the Friday of the second week of the next month. Looking at the spiritual aspect of this, permit me to digress, I can vividly remember what the General Overseer of MFM, Dr DK Daniel Olukoya said during the cross over night program in prayer city on the 31st December 2014, and I quote ‘It’s a year of uncommon testimony, Multiple restoration and favor” I prayed like no man business and was seriously looking forward to 2015 with a positive mindset.  My advice, Always Appreciate God in every little thing in life.

Making legit money online takes time, patience, focus, determination and lastly the “Never give up attitude”.  In life you should have a set goal, plan to actually achieve your visions and dreams, I actually applied for the Konga affiliate program due to the fact it relate to my niche. My website lowkeytech.com is a technology niched website where I share latest prices of mobile phones and Konga do sell mobile phones and even offer payment on delivery and other cool services, so joining their affiliate program and getting little commissions would go a long way in matter of months. I was patient, I wasn’t in a rush to make quick fast money.

I applied for the Konga affiliate program on the 9th of September 2014, placed their mobile phones banners with my affiliate link on my website, I was notified by mail on every products sold via my affiliate link and the commissions was also included in the mail, though at first the commissions was so little, I never gave up, I was patient, in few months I started having good commissions and I made over N20,000, I noticed some commissions were pending, declined approved, finally some of my commissions were approved and I qualified for the N10,000 payment threshold which was the minimum payment to be paid via bank wire on the Friday of the second week of the next month, I wasn’t paid, I sent a mail to the konga affiliate manager requesting why my commissions were not being paid. He replied with their stories that he would get back to me, still same story, I got tired of sending mails, mean while I was still making commissions via my affiliate banners which was over N17,000. Though all my approved commissions were just reducing every day still it got to 0.0.00. I left the case to God and forgot about getting paid by konga in 2014.

To my greatest surprised on the 5th of January 2015, I received an alert from Konga crediting my first bank account with N11, 133.08. I was so surprised and lost in thought because I actually wasn’t expecting anything from konga, I practically removed their banners from my website due to the fact I thought I was been played and used. But receiving that credit alert changed my view about konga, though the N11, 000 is little, but it’s better than nothing, I can use that to pay for my hosting for the next month. My konga banners are back up and making me money. 😀

Still expecting to receive my Jumia affiliate commissions, also adversal and superlink commissions. My best Google AdSense alternative.
