Mtn recently reviewed the true talk plus tariff plan, I got a text message from mtn last week stating the recent increase of the true talk plus plan from the 11k/s to 20k/s due to the regulatory requirement by the Ncc.
Below is the text message i got from mtn:
The new update on the Mtn true talk plus has a little benefit, you get 100% bonus on recharge using the *885*PIN#
With the new update on the true talk plus and additional 100% bonus on recharge still got me disappointed. Most mtn subscribers dont have an idea on the recent change in the true talk plus tariff plan. I hope with this article most mtn true talk plus tariff users would have the choice to either keep using the true talk plus or migrate to other affordable mtn tariff plan.
Below are the mtn tariff plans i strongly recommend:
Mtn Zone: The update on the Mtn zone tariff plan which has 12k/s as the lowest zone tariff, do not pay attention to mtn cell broadcast displaying zone call rates as 8k/s, its all lies. The lowest zone call rate is 12k/s and highest is 20 – 24k/s.
See below is a snapshot of the mtn zone rate of 8k/s
Mtn ipluse: The Mtn ipluse has a 15k/s call rate to all network.
Mtn Smooth Talk Plus: It has call rate of 15 kobo per second for calls ACROSS ALL local Networks after the first minute of the day at 40 kobo per second. while actually now only making calls from other networks which all have 11k/sec.
Make the wise choice and choose between the best mtn tariff plans that suits you. I opted back to the mtn zone tariff plan which i call at 12k/s. Hopefully mtn would launch a new affordable tariff plan for the average Nigerian.
