Sometimes, the remedies you’re combing the entire city searching for could be right there in your kitchen cupboards. Here are some really useful home remedies that would help you through some of the health issues you might be too embarrassed to talk about. Don’t knock it till you try it!
Use Ginger for Menstrual Cramp:
According to research, ginger is an effective herb that has several health benefits, one of which is curing menstrual cramps. It lowers pain levels causing prostaglandins and soothes menstrual cramps and calms the stomach. All you have to do is boil some ginger slices in water and keep sipping this throughout the day. Use Oatmeal for Eczema:
You probably thought oatmeal could only be consumed. Oatmeal is an interesting cure for eczema. It contains saponins which allows it to work as a natural cleanser and removes dirt and dead skin from your pores. This anti-inflammatory content reduces inflammation. To use as a mask, put 1/3 cup of oatmeal in a bowl, pour in 1/2 cup of hot water and let it sit for a few minutes. Add 1 tablespoon of honey. Mix well and use as mask on your skin.
To add to your bathing water, grind 2 tablespoons of oatmeal to powder form with blender; add 1 tablespoon of baking soda; add 1 tablespoon of olive oil; soak in water for 10-15 minutes; stir properly and bath.

Cucumbers are a proven remedy for puffy eyes. They contain vitamin C and caffeic acid in the vegetable which helps soothe skin and reduce puffy eyes. Put the cucumber slices in a plastic bag and chill them in the refrigerator. Place the cold slices over your eyes for 5-10 minutes.
Use Honey for Better Skin:
Honey is an inexpensive DIY treatment for your skin. It’s also very simple to use. Apply honey to your slightly damp skin. Rub in a circular motion and leave for 30 minutes before washing off with warm water. Honey contains antitoxidants and anti-bacterial properties which makes it your skin’s best friend.

Use Baking Soda for Smelly Feet:

Make sure you stir as you add till the water is cloudy. Squeeze some lemon into the bowl of water. Leave your feet in the solution for 10-15 minutes and dry feet properly. To also stop your shoes from smelling, leave baking soda in them after wear over night for the moisture to be absorbed.
