To launch Microsoft Edge using Command Prompt, you will need to have already downloaded and installed Edge browser. So, let’s check out how to open any website on the Edge browser via Command Prompt.
Step 1. First of all, you need to right-click on the Start button and select ‘Command Prompt (Admin)’
Step 2. This will open the Command Prompt with administrator rights.
Step 3. Once done, you need to execute a command –
Step 4.The above command will immediately open the Edge browser.
Step 5. If you want to open any particular website, then use the command –
start msedge https://techviral.net
Note: You need to replace the ‘https://techviral.net’ with the web address of your choice.
Step 6. The above command will immediately open the techviral.net website on the Edge browser.
Step 7. To open the Edge browser in Private mode, execute the command –
start msedge -inprivate
Step 8. To open any particular website in InPrivate Mode, execute the command –
start msedge -inprivate https://techviral.net
