Saving the Instagram Draft Reels in Gallery feature is available on the latest version of the app. So, you will first have to update the Android Instagram app from the Play Store.

Once updated, you can save your draft reels directly in your phone’s gallery and view them offline.

Saving Instagram Draft Reels in Gallery without Posting

Once you’ve updated the Instagram app for Android, you can save the draft reels directly in the Gallery without posting. Here’s how.

1. Launch the Instagram app on your Android or iPhone.

2. Once launched, tap the (+) icon at the bottom of the screen.

3. At the bottom of the screen, switch to the Reels.

4. On the New Reel screen, tap the (+) Drafts.

5. Pick the Reels draft you want to save to the Camera Roll or Gallery.

6. The draft Reel will start playing. You need to tap the Edit button at the top right of the screen.

7. When the editing is done, tap the Down arrow button at the top left corner.

8. Swipe through the options at the bottom and tap the Save icon.

9. On the Save menu, select Save to Camera roll.

10. The video will be immediately saved to the Camera Roll. You can open the Gallery and check the draft reels video.
