We all know we shouldn’t drive and use our phone at the same time. Yet, some of us tend to do it. Numerous accidents occur annually across the globe, especially due to distractions as a result of smartphone usage while driving. Well, Samsung aims to tackle this issue with their upcoming app called “In-Traffic Reply”.

The In-Traffic Reply app sends automated responses while the person is driving, so you can completely stay focused on the road. The app will automatically activate when it detects the user is riding a bike or driving a car through the smartphone’s GPS sensors. Once the phone’s owner receives a text or a call, it gets immediately cut off and the app sends a pre-set message. The default reply is “I’m driving, so I cannot answer at the moment”. However,  if you want to step it up a notch, you can even send a pre-set customized message.

Samsung’s app is currently in beta, but the final version is scheduled to be released in May and it will be available on the Google Play Store for free. If you don’t want to wait that long for the actual release, you can download the APK file of the beta version from here and start using it right away. Stay safe, riders.
