NVIDIA To Launch Cheaper Version Of RTX 3050 In February 2024
According to new rumors from China’s Board Channels, the new RTX 3050 graphics card will have a modified VRAM capacity, supposedly 6GB of VRAM. This GPU is expected to serve as a cheaper alternative to the currently existing 8GB of VRAM, which will cost around $219.99.
The expected launch price for the new GeForce RTX 3050 6GB graphics card would be $179, according to the information from Board Channels, which means it would be at least $40 cheaper than the 8GB variant.
Currently, there has yet to be an official confirmation from NVIDIA on the pricing of the new GeForce RTX 3050 6GB graphics card. It is important to note that the pricing often changes before the device’s official release.
With the reduction in VRAM, the GeForce RTX 3050 6GB graphics card might be limited to a 96-bit memory bus and may offer 2,048 CUDA Cores. Kindly note that these are just speculations, and we may have to wait for an official confirmation of the specifications from NVIDIA.
