gmailGmail is one of the most widely used email platforms in the world today. Which is why the possibility of having users create more than a single Gmail account is higher.

However, with the many people owning multiple accounts,  they are left with the option of either opening a different tab or adding a new identity extension to their chrome browser every time they need to use more than one account at the same time.

Rather than doing this, you can merge all your accounts into a single one with one being the primary account while others will serve as secondary. Jovago.com, Africa’s No1 hotel booking portal shares tips on how to do this.

  1. Log into your Gmail account by entering your username and password.

  2. Open the setting icons and click on forwarding and POP/IMAP.

  3. On the list after clicking forwarding and pop/IMAP, click on Add forwarding address. A menu will pop up for you to enter the email you want to receive in your primary email.

  4. A confirmation link will be sent to your secondary email. Open and verify your email. In addition, a confirmation code will be sent to your secondary email. Copy and paste the code in the space provided in your primary mail.

  5. You can add as many emails as possible whether it is a Gmail account or not. However, be careful so as not to flood your inbox with too many emails. Two or three is enough.
