WhatsApp is a leading social network for chatting via the use of phone numbers. The application is not complex which has made it attractive to many. However, with the settings of social networks, you can only use one phone number for one account.

1. Backup your WhatsApp account

The app to use for this purpose is OG WhatsApp but you download it, ensure that you backup your chats. Go to chat settings and click on backup chats. Also, ensure that your phone is connected to the Internet. After this has been done, clear your data on App info and uninstall your official WhatsApp account.

2. Download OG WhatsApp

After installing the application, use the phone number you used for the account you uninstalled. You can now use OGwhatsapp and restore the data you have backed up if you want to.

3. The second account-download WhatsApp

You can now download another WhatsApp account by visiting Google Play store. Launch it after download. However, ensure that you enter a new number rather than the old one. With this done, you can now use more than one WhatsApp account on a single phone. However, remember that this will only work with Android Operating system.
