Sony is already fighting with Microsoft for a Call of Duty game series contract, but now, the company is also rumored to be working on a new PlayStation 5 console model, which may be called the PS5 Pro.
The Japan-based tech giant Sony holds great authority over the console market with its PlayStation consoles, and it might be planning an addition to it which would come out later this year.
PlayStation 5 Series Would Get New Addition Next Year
Everyone may be familiar with the PlayStation 5 series, which Sony launched in late 2020 after, seven years of its predecessor’s launch as PS4 was launched in Q4 of 2013.
And according to the latest report from Insider Gaming, the company is secretly working on a new model of the PlayStation 5 console. The information didn’t reveal much about their source as they kept it unnamed.
Besides, this report doesn’t include any detail regarding the upgrades which we would see in this Pro version. But we can surely say that it will include multiple improvements, such as better Ray tracing and heat solution.
While the same report has noted that Sony is highly expected to launch this PlayStation 5 Pro next year in Q4. And if they wouldn’t get any issues during the development phase of it so its arrival could be in November month.
Because Sony multiple times selected this month to launch PlayStation models and series, and this report also claims that arrival will be in the last months of the year.
Apart from this report, multiple leakers have earlier already mentioned the Pro version of PS5, and there is one more thing that assures about PS5 Pro.
The company launched PlayStation 4’s Pro version in 2016, which had multiple upgrades and advancements compared to the normal PS4.
Sony took a gap of three years between the launch of Pro and non-Pro models, and 2024 will be the third year after PS5’s launch, so there will be a higher chance that history will repeat itself.
