Apple still hasn’t confirmed anything about its upcoming AR/VR headset, but the company has started its demo testing, which is performed by some lucky testers.
And one tester from this list has reported some details about it and even mentioned that it “blew them away,” so let’s discuss below these significant details regarding the Apple Mixed Reality headset.
Apple Mixed Reality Headset May Get New Changes Ahead of Launch
The information surfaced when a well-known leaker Evan Blass tweeted regarding it, but the tweet is currently not viewable due to the limit on it.
However, Blass claimed in the tweet that he knows a person who was part of the headset’s testing phase, and that person told him some details and changes of this mixed reality headset.
A few months ago, the same person said to Blass that the headset has underwhelming capabilities, but now, he is being “blown away” by the experience and the upgrades to hardware.
The change in the Apple tester’s perspective has arrived because the company brought a huge leap to the product from its first tasting last year.
However, the tester told Blass that “I was so skeptical; now I’m blown away in a ‘take my money kind of way,” they said.
With upgrades to hardware, the tester may also find some improvement in its OS. As earlier, Mark Gurman noted, the company is making advancements to RealityOS.
The exact changes are still unclear, but the response from the tester is only hinting qat positive upgrades to the headset that are making it more exciting.
Besides, this headset is also rumored to be priced at around $3,000, which is really higher than the headset from Sony and Meta; that is why many insiders think that its sales would not meet the company’s expectations.
And still, there is no confirmation on when this headset will enter the market, but Apple is expected to reveal its first look or glimpse at the WWDC event, which will take place in June this year.
