While there’s no option to delete Threads Profile without deleting your Instagram, you can deactivate it. Deactivating Threads account is pretty easy, and you won’t have to access Instagram’s settings. Here are the steps to deactivate Threads profile.

1. Open the Threads app on your Android or iPhone.

2. When the app opens, tap on the profile icon at the bottom right corner of your screen.

 

3. On the profile screen, tap the menu icon (two lines) at the top right corner.

That’s it! This will immediately deactivate your Threads Profile. If you change your mind later and want to reactivate the profile, log back into the Threads app with your Instagram account.

How to Delete Threads Account?

As of now, there’s no option to delete threads profiles separately. To delete your Threads profile and data, you must delete your Instagram account. Here’s how to delete threads account by deleting Instagram.

1. Open the Instagram app on your smartphone.

2. When the app opens, tap on your profile picture at the bottom right.
