The recent update to Google Photos now allows you to share Memories as a video file with friends.

Before this, it was difficult to share these photo slideshows with anyone not using Google Photos.

However, now things have changed. Google Photos lets you share Memories as video files, making it easy for anyone to view them without needing the app.

How to Share Google Photos Memories As a Video File

To share Memories as a Video file, you need to update the Google Photos app from the Google Play Store. Then, follow these steps.

1. Open the Google Photos app on your Android phone (Make sure the app is updated).

2. Open the Memory that you want to share.

3. You can make the edits before sharing the photo slideshow as a video file.

4. Once you’ve done the editing, tap the Share button.

5. On the Share as screen, select Video.

6. Now you can choose to directly share the video file on apps.

7. The new app also lets you create a link for the video. For that, tap on Get Link.

8. On the Link Sharing prompt, select Create Link. This will copy the link to your clipboard.
