To use the ChatGPT Image Generation feature on WhatsApp, you will have to save the +1 (800) 242-8478 number on your smartphone.
After saving the number, you will have to initiate a chat by sending a ‘Hi’ message on WhatsApp.
1. To get started, save the +1 (800) 242-8478 on your phone. If you’re unable to find the ChatGPT bot, you can click this URL.
2. Once saved, initiate a conversation with the same number on WhatsApp by sending a simple ‘Hi’ message.
3. The ChatGPT bot will guide you through prompts. You need to follow the prompts to link your existing ChatGPT account.’
4. Once lined, you can begin generating the images by providing text prompts.
5. You can provide a text prompt like ‘Create an image of a dog wearing a Superman suit in a modern town’.
6. The bot will respond with an AI-generated image.
While OpenAI confirmed that users can generate images directly from the WhatsApp ChatGPT, many users are unable to do so.
It’s possible that OpenAI is still working on this feature and will take a few more days or weeks to become available to all users worldwide.
