This means, while creating stories, you can now enter text prompts to modify the images and videos as per your requirement.

Instagram’s new Restyle Tool

The latest update brings a new ‘Restyle’ tool to Instagram’s story creation screen. The button appears in the top right corner of the editing interface.

You can tap on that button to type a text prompt (for images) or apply preset effects (for videos) to guide Meta AI.

You can also enter creative prompts to add elements to the photos/videos, change the background, enhance the picture/videos, etc.

How to Use the Restyle Tool on Instagram?

The Restyle Tool is available on the very latest version of the Instagram app. To use it, you will have to update the app from the Google Play Store and follow these steps.

1. Update the Instagram app from the Google Play Store.

2. Once updated, launch the Instagram app and move to the Story creation screen.

3. Create an Instagram story that you want to share.

4. At the top right corner, tap the Restyle button.

5. Now, enter the text prompt. From removing unwanted details to adding cinematic or artistic effects, you can do a lot with these tools.

To get the most out of the Restyle tool, you need to be very descriptive in your prompts. You should mention elements like lighting, composition, subjects, and mood for better results.
