Instagram recently introduced a bunch of new features to its DM interface. This includes the voice message transcriptions, longer audio recording limits, and a quick follow function for group chats.

The voice message transcriptions feature is going to be very useful since it lets you read the audio message.

The text transcription of voice messages in Instagram DMs ensures that you can still engage with your messages in any environment.

How to Use the Voice Message Transcription Feature on Instagram?

To use the new feature, you should update the Instagram app from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. Once updated, follow these steps.

1. Launch the Instagram app on your Android or iPhone.

2. Open the chat containing the voice message.

3. Just underneath the voice message, you will notice the View transcription text.

4. Tap on View transcription to view the text of the audio clip.

5. This feature makes it easier to connect with friends even when you can’t listen to a voice message out loud.

Along with the voice message transcription, Instagram now allows longer voice messages of up to five minutes in length.

You also have a new ‘Follow all’ feature that lets you follow everyone in the group chat.
