The iTel A56 Pro is the bigger version of the iTel A56. The budget phone maintains a similar body design with its sibling but comes with bigger inbuilt storage and RAM. Apart from the storage, it still maintains the same camera, battery, and many more.

Design and Display

On the body, the iTel A56 Pro still comes in a compact body design that has a rear glass effect and a bright mirror frame with deep reflections. The phone is built to look premium and attractive as well.

The body is slim and also has curved edges making it stay comfortably in one hand. On the rear panel, it has a vertical camera setup with an LED flash below and then the logo and the speaker at the bottom.

The entire body measures 159.7 x 77.7 x 8.9 mm in dimensions and it weighs the same 164 grams. The iTel A56 Pro ditched the popular notch but packs some visible bezels both on the top and bottom of the screen.

It has a screen size of 6.0 inches IPS LCD display with a resolution of 480 x 960 pixels and 242 PPI density. It also has an 18:9 aspect ratio that provides an immersive viewing experience to users. There is a scratch-resistant glass on the screen and it has a 73.2% screen-to-body ratio.

Camera

As for the camera setup, the dual 8 MP wide with another helper of 0.3 MP on the phone will ensure beautiful photos. The camera is further paired with an LED for capturing bright photos even in a low light environment.

It can also record full HD video quality. The front camera is 5 MP and its equipped with safe advanced facial recognition.

With the infrared light sensor and an infrared camera, users can unlock the phone using their face even under low light conditions. iTel says that the Face ID is safe and convenient.

Hardware and Software

Underneath the iTel A56 Pro is a midrange UniSoC Spreadtrum SC7731E SOC that is based on 32nm process technology. The chip has a quad-core processor with a clocking speed of 1.3 GHz.

It has ARM Mali T820 MP1 for graphics and gaming. Booting the budget iTel phone is Android Go Edition. The internal storage has been upgraded to 32GB and it now pegs at 2GB RAM for a smooth performance. You can still expand the storage using a micro SDcard up to 64GB.

Battery Power and Network

The iTel A56 Pro is backed by a massive 4000 mAh battery. The battery does not has fast charging but will last a full day. Its promise to last up to 21 hours of continuous calls, 54 hours of music playback, and 8 hours of video playback.

The network availability on the handset is a 2G and 3G network. Sadly it lacks 4G LTE network. Other features on the phone include GPS, FM radio, wifi, and Micro USB 2.0.

The iTel A56 Pro price in Nigeria starts at around 34,000 Naira, which is around $87. Meanwhile, in Ghana, it will cost 500 Ghs and 800 Ksh in Kenya. You can buy the phone in Aqua Blue, Champagne Gold, and Deep Grey colors.
