Design

The Lenovo Legion Y740 maintains the same style as both the previous iteration and most legion Y series.

At first glance it can be easily concluded that the laptop sports all-aluminum chassis, however at closer inspection their is a little piece of high-quality smooth black plastic around the thermal solution.

Similarly, the entire silver and black chassis  sports a smooth finish on the lid with a slightly curved edge.

The Lenovo Legion Y740 lid also host Legion logo running vertically along the side with an RGB lights glow behind the ‘Y’ shape within the LEGION branding.

Furthermore, the rear vents on the sides and on the back also comes with the illuminating RGB lights which can be independently controlled  using the Corsair iCUE ambient system lighting software.
